Laphroaig 15 Year Old Mansion Label, OB with Box

This limited edition bottle is numbered 40 out of only 50 with the Mansion label, drawn from the cask of Laphroaig 15 yr old and presented to HRH The Prince of Wales to mark his 50^th birthday. The Prince signed the cask during his visit to the distillery in 1994 and donated it the Erskine hospital 2000 appeal, of which he is the Patron. The cask end was auctioned off for the appeal in 2002 and was won by Marcel van Gils, whom went on to co-author “The Legend of Laphroaig” and has now kindly returned it to the new museum at Laphroaig. Very rare.
