An exceptional 22 year old Islay malt that was distilled at Laphroaig on the 4th April 1973, matured in sherry oak cask number 2259 and bottled for Blackadder International in November 1995. A deceptive whisky, in that the sherry notes have somewhat mellowed the usual characteristic peatiness of a Laphroaig. This is one of just 348 Limited Editions.
