Macallan 1949 50 Year Old Millenium Decanter with Presentation Case
Distilled 14th January 1949 in Spanish oak sherry casks and released into this elegant hand made Caithness decanter in August 1999 as a 50 year old to celebrate the new millenium.
The decanter is housed in an oak presentation box and features a copper ingot cast from No. 9 spirit still from the Macallan distillery. More importantly this increasingly scarce 50 year old malt is rated highly by Jim Murray, author of the whisky bible, and Michael Jackson, the late whisky connoisseur/author.
