This stunning 20 year old Speyside single malt was laid down at the Benromach distillery on the 21st August 1998 and bottled to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the reopening of the distillery on the 21st August 2018.
Cask No. 1 contains whisky from the first cask to be laid down when the Benromach distillery reopened in 1998, following 15 years cessation of production. This first-fill Sherry butt was signed by HRH the Duke of Rothesay, Prince Charles, upon the distillery’s official opening ceremony in 1998.
Bottled at a natural cask strength 60.1% ABV, this is just one of 575 bottles that scored a whopping 90 points on the respected WhiskyFun site and comes housed in a gorgeous dumpy decanter and exquisite heavy oak presentation case with COA and information booklet insert.
