Ten of the Best: Signatory Vintage - The Dumpy Series

Ten of the Best: Signatory Vintage - The Dumpy Series

The Signatory Vintage Scotch Whisky Co. was founded in 1988 by Andrew Symington, who had previously managed the distinguished Prestonfield House Hotel in Edinburgh. A Signatory Vintage bottling plant was originally based in the Newhaven area of Edinburgh. In 2002 the business acquired Edradour distillery, taking over from Pernod Ricard, and subsequently moved all its operations to Pitlochry, Perthshire.

The legendary independent bottler has been responsible for some superb examples of single cask, natural strength whiskies, none more so from their iconic dumpy bottle series. We are going to take a look at some of their exceptional bottlings from that range here: -
