This quite stunning 22 year old single Islay malt was laid to rest at the Bowmore distillery in 1965 and bottled for the prestigious Prestonfield House of Edinburgh, Scotland, in the late 1980's.
Drawn from the now legendary single sherry cask number 47, this outrageously rare vintage scored a brilliant 94 points with the WhiskyFun fellas and comes complete with original presentation box.
Prestonfield House combines both worlds of history and contemporary luxury in one unique experience. Built in 1687, for a close friend of King James II, it has gone on to welcome many fine dignitaries.
It seems highly unlikely we will find another one of these in such fabulous condition. A true legend.
