Product Details
This outstanding 35 year old single malt was distilled at Bruichladdich in 1970 and bottled in 2006 to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the iconic Islay distillery.
Selected from a parcel of the legendary 1970 vintage, matured for 35 years in Bourbon casks and being finished in Zind Humbrecht's 'Selection de Grains Noble' Pinot Gris casks. This is just another fine bit of work from the Master Distiller himself, Jim McEwan.
Bottled at a natural cask strength 40.1% ABV, this very rare bottling is limited to just 2,502 bottles worldwide and was awarded an excellent 91 points on the WhiskyFun review site.
Comes complete with original fetching presentation case and signed COA. Note: there are some very minor cosmetic marks/scratches on the box - see images for detail.
