Product Details

This very scarce 34 year old single grain was distilled at the Caledonian distillery on the 10th April 1976 and bottled by the Dead Whisky Society on the 29th March 2011.

The Caledonian distillery was founded in 1855, though it was initially simply called Edinburgh distillery, and was originally the largest producer of grain whisky in Scotland. Sadly, it was closed in 1987 and although it was demolished for housing redevelopment, the old distillery chimney remains as a historical structure.

Taken from cask number 900015, this cask strength limited release is one of just 295 bottles that comes with original presentation case and COA.
