Product Details

This superb 29 year old Lowland single grain was laid down at the Caledonian distillery in May 1978 and bottled by The Scotch Malt Whisky Society in March 2008.

Charged from single society cask number G3.1 at a natural strength 60.1% ABV, this inaugural SMWS release from the Caledonian distillery comes in great condition and is described as 'Hours of entertainment' on the label.

Sadly, the Caledonian distillery was permanently closed in 1988 and the site was demolished and renovated into residential housing a decade later.
