Product Details

This rare 27 year old single grain whisky was distilled at the Cambus distillery on the 16th September 1983 and bottled by the Dead Whisky Society on the 12th April 2011.

The Cambus grain distillery was founded in 1823, and although it had survived many years of hardship - which included a huge fire in 1913, forcing the distillery to remain closed until 1938 - it could not be sustained more recently and the distillery was sadly closed in 1993.

Taken from cask number 701513, this cask strength limited release is one of just 217 bottles that comes with original presentation case and COA.

This whisky is absolutely stunning l have just finished a bottle and didn't disappoint at all,in fact by chance l poured a rather boring speyside G&M Macallan 18 yo into the Cambus empty glass by mistake it changed the Macallan into an absolute fruit bomb, highly recommend you try it.
