This superlative 17 year old Islay single malt was laid to rest at the Caol Ila distillery on the 3rd May 1974 before being bottled by Signatory Vintage in November 1991.

Charged from oak cask numbers 5-9 at a natural strength 61.1% ABV, this is one of 3000 bottles that scored an insurmountable 96 points on the review site, WhiskyFun.

The word legend maybe gets bandied around a little too much, but legend might just be an understatement when describing this beauty!
