This awesome 30 year old Speyside single malt was produced at the Caperdonich distillery in June 1982 and bottled by Douglas Laing & Co. for their Directors' Cut series in July 2012.
Caperdonich distillery was founded in 1898, when it operated for just a few years until 1902. It remained dormant again until 1965 when production resumed to help supply demand for Glen Grant. Sadly, the distillery was to close once again in 2002 and was finally demolished in 2011.
Drawn from refill butt number 8778 at a natural strength 50.9% ABV, this limited release is one of a paltry 209 bottles that comes with original timber presentation case and COA.
