This 16 year old Speyside single malt was laid to sleep at the Dailuaine distillery in February 1971 and bottled for The Scotch Malt Whisky Society, under society cask number 41.1, in April 1987.
Filled at a natural cask strength 57.9% ABV, this is a very rare specimen that was inducted into the SMWS vaults as the inaugural release from the Dailuaine distillery.
Unfortunately, a previous owner of this bottle has got a little confused and written incorrect distillery information on the label *face palm*. We can assure you this is from the Dailuaine distillery and not St. Magdalene! See image for detail.
