Now rum is not exactly our usual angle, but this extraordinary example of vintage rum was finished in a cask from the Glenfarclas distillery!
This ultra rare 44 year old Colombian rum, from a vintage 1974 single cask, was finished in a whisky cask and them shipped to Scotland where it spent a further 14 months in a Glenfarclas 1992 fourth-fill sherry hogshead cask.
Filled at a natural strength 43.4% ABV on the 21st March 2019, this is one of only 363 bottles that come with fine presentation case and signed COA.
The 2 Masters series combines the craftsmanship and mastery of two masters of their field, this collaboration between Dictador and Glenfarclas was the 2nd edition in the series.
