This gorgeous 17 year old Speyside single malt was laid down at the Glenrothes distillery in April 1978 and bottled by The Scotch Malt Whisky Society in February 1996.

Matured in Oloroso sherry and drawn from society cask number 30.7 at a natural strength 55.5% ABV, this rare catch is one of 594 and was described by the SMWS as "A suet-pudding of a whisky".
