Whilst we at The Whisky Vault were busy celebrating our 10th Anniversary, the Orkney Island giants Highland Park were commissioned to bottle us a commemorative single cask to mark the occasion.
We purchased a batch of their award winning 12 year old single malt, before allowing it to further mature in a Sherry seasoned firkin cask.
In February 2019 our firkin single cask number 500122 was bottled, yielding just 57 bottles at a natural strength 56.9% ABV.
The result is stunning in both design and taste, this is truly an exclusive bottling of the highest order - a statement backed up by the WhiskyFun critics, who awarded this a magnificent 90 points!
Each bottle and carton is individually numbered and is supplied with a tasting notes tab on the bottle neck.
