This outstanding Highland Park malt was laid down in single Sherry cask number 4493 during 1961.
After 36 long years of maturation, this liquid gold was bottled by S & JD Robertson Group Ltd of Orkney in 1997 and is one of only 216 bottles awarded an almighty 91 points at WhiskyFun.
The Dragon, from which it takes its name, derives from the 12th Century carving by Norse Crusaders in one of Britain's finest prehistoric buildings, the Maes Howe chambered tomb, Orkney, dating from around 3000BC.
Supplied in excellent condition with original wooden box and a fill level well into the neck. Please note there is a small pen scribble in the top left corner of the label - visible on the image inset.
