Product Details

This very rare 35 year old Lowland single malt was distilled at Inverleven on the 21st September 1967 and bottled for Signatory Vintage's Rare Reserve series on the 18th April 2003.

Taken from sherry cask number 3827 at a natural strength 52.2% ABV, this is one of only 142 bottles that scored an impressive 87 points on WhiskyFun and comes complete with presentation case, signed COA, branded nosing glass and 5cl miniature for sampling.

Inverleven (a.k.a. Dumbarton) is a Lowland distillery that was founded in 1938 by Hiram Walker & Sons. Dumbarton grain distillery and Inverleven malt distillery were brought to life simultaneously in 1938, with the latter housed inside Dumbarton's walls. In 1956 a third Lomond still was added to the still house. Lomond was mothballed in 1985 before Inverleven followed suit in 1991. The Dumbarton site was demolished in 2002.
