This sherry-matured 20 year old Islay single malt was laid to rest at the Laphroaig distillery on the 12th October 1990 and bottled for The Scotch Malt Whisky Society, under society cask number 29.109, in 2011.

Charged from refill ex-sherry butt at a huge natural cask strength 59.2% ABV, this is one of 619 bottles that is labelled by the SMWS as having 'Oak and smoke intensity'.
