This insanely rare lowland single malt set was produced at the now silent Littlemill distillery in 1967 and bottled for Signatory Vintage as one of just 325 very limited edition presentations containing 2 x 50cl bottles.
The first bottle is a 36 year old Littlemill malt that was distilled on the 28th February 1967, matured in oak Hogsheads numbers 669-672 and bottled on the 11th June 2003.
The second bottle in the set was also distilled at Littlemill in 1967, though it was labelled under their Dunglass moniker - a medium, mildly peated single malt compared to the more delicate and sweeter Littlemill style. Laid to rest on the 31st May 1967, this Dunglass malt was matured for 37 years in oak Hogshead number 2409 and bottled on the 25th June 2004.
A quite unique and spectacular presentation that displays the contrasting styles of the Littlemill distillery, which of course sadly closed it doors way back 1994 with the final remnants of the distillery being destroyed by fire in 2004.
