This 3 year old Lowland single malt was laid down at the Lochlea distillery in 2018 and bottled as their inaugural release in 2021.
Lochlea was once home to the Bard of Ayrshire himself, Robert Burns, who lived and worked at the farm from 1777 to 1784. The family-run farm grows and harvests their own barley and has an on-site water source, making this a unique and exceptionally green operation.
The release date was the 25th January 2022, marking the birthday of Robert Burns and 245 years since he moved to the farm.
An exciting limited edition, more of which we look forward to over the coming months and years, this First Release was matured in first Fill Bourbon and Pedro Ximénez Casks and is one of 7385 bottles
