Product Details
This smoky Lowland single malt was produced at the Lochlea distillery and bottled as the fourth and final release from the 'First Crop', an annual series of limited seasonal bottlings.
The Ploughing Edition reflects the winter season on Lochlea Farm and is the first smoky whisky that their Production Director, John Campbell, has created outside of Laphroaig.
Matured in ex-Islay barrels and peated quarter casks, this is one of 11,000 bottles filled at 46% ABV that were released on Burns Night, the 25th January 2023. Rabbie Burns lived on the farm from 1777-1784.
