Product Details

This sensationally deep-Sherry-matured 29 year old single malt was distilled at The Macallan in 1965 and bottled in the mid-1990's for Whyte & Whyte Importers Ltd, an Illinois-based wine and spirits importer that were once known for bottling long-aged single cask whiskies under their own label.

Whyte & Whyte in the US worked alongside a subsidiary in the UK who had the task of sourcing the whiskies from the Scottish distilleries. Whyte & Whyte was to eventually cease trading in October 1998, not least before having left their legacy with bottles such as this stunning 1965 Macallan.

Drawn from single Sherry cask at a natural strength 48.5% ABV, this fabulous Speysider is one of an exceptionally limited number of bottles ever so rarely seen on the open market.
