This ultra special 2010 limited release was the inaugural entry into the Macallan Masters of Photography series. The Rankin edition was limited to just 1,000 bottles and presentation sets, with each containing a polaroid taken by the famous photographer (full name, James Rankin Waddell) during his time spent at Easter Elchies estate as part of the MOP project.
Here he was encouraged to interpret The Macallan Estate through his lens, capturing its heart and soul through the art of photography. The output of the collaboration was a staggering 1,000 works of art, each comprising an original Rankin image, captured on Polaroid film.
The Masters of Photography: Rankin Edition is presented in a black leather box, lined with velvet, containing a bottle of The Macallan 30 year old Fine Oak and an original Rankin Polaroid. Each unique bottle has an individually printed label which matches the specific Polaroid contained within the box and a booklet of authenticity signed by the man himself.
The image inset is of the exact bottle and presentation we hold in stock - see image for fine detail.
