This absolutely sensational 28 year old Speyside single malt was laid down at the Balmenach distillery on the 15th June 1966 and bottled for Arthur J. A. Bell, The Whisky Connoisseur, circa 1994.
Drawn from single cask number 3154 at an eye-watering 63.5% ABV, this unbelievably scarce beauty was bottled under the Miltonhaugh label - a brand name introduced by The Whisky Connoisseur, a common theme of theirs.
Highly regarded as a unicorn of the whisky world, the likes of which may never be seen again. The folks at WhiskyFun were blown away by this malt, awarding it a near perfect 96 points - one of their highest scores and accolades to date.
Supplied in decent condition, though a previous owner has written the distillery name 'Balmenach' on the rear label - see images for all of the finer details.
