Product Details

This extraordinarily rare 18 year old single malt was laid to rest at the Rosebank distillery in 1974 and bottled from one single barrel in the early-1990's for Whyte & Whyte Importers Ltd, an Illinois-based wine and spirits importer that were once known for bottling long-aged single cask whiskies under their own label.

Whyte & Whyte in the US worked alongside a subsidiary in the UK who had the task of sourcing the whiskies from the Scottish distilleries. Whyte & Whyte was to eventually cease trading in October 1998, not least before having left their mark on the industry with many stunning bottles - including superb releases from Macallan, Clynelish, Glenfarclas and of course this beauty from Rosebank.
