This ultra rare Springbank vintage was distilled on the 16th June 1970, matured for 34 long years in single Sherry butt number 1631 and then specially bottled for Prestonfield House of Edinburgh on the 13th August 2004.
Prestonfield House combines both worlds of history and contemporary luxury in one unique experience. Built in 1687, for a close friend of King James II, it has gone on to welcome many fine dignitaries.
This particular bottle, numbered 64 of just 157, is the very rare Signatory Vintage bottling imported by La Maison du Whisky that scored a massive 90 points on WhiskyFun and comes with its original presentation box.
Not commonly found, it is highly likely that this desirable 51.2% ABV cask strength Campbeltown single malt will have been quaffed well before the 'well heeled collector' got their hands on them!
