Product Details

This radiant 22 year old Campbeltown single malt was distilled at Springbank in 1996 and privately bottled for the Special Boat Service in 2019.

The limited edition whisky was commissioned on the background of Operation Frankton, when on the 18th day of October 1942 Flag Officer Submarines accepted the newly completed plan which ultimately changed Royal Navy history.

Fast forward 77 years, on the 18th day of October 2019, this stunning malt was filled from sherry cask number 607 at a natural strength 52.8% and is one of only 238 exclusive bottles housed in a wooden gift box to fully encapsulate the heritage.

Please note, though there is no specified ABV declared on the bottle, we were reliably informed by the original proprietor that the filling strength was indeed 52.8%.
